Embajada de Colombia en Australia y Centro Cultural Latinoamericano invitan al Taller musical para niños con los artistas de Amarú Tribe
Camberra (oct. 16/18). La Embajada de Colombia en Australia y el Centro Cultural Latinoamericano organizarán el próximo miércoles 24 de octubre un taller Musical con miembros de la agrupación “Amaru Tribe”, quienes con sus raíces latinoamericanas se destacan en la escena musical de Melbourne con un nuevo ritmo que han denominado “Cumbia Oceánica”.
El taller está dirigido a niños y niñas entre 7 y 12 años y se realizará en las instalaciones del Centro Cultural Latinoamericano (28 Astrolabe Road, Red Hill ACT 2603), a las 4.00 p.m. del miércoles 24 de octubre. (Cupos limitados - Evento Gratuito) Para la participación de los niños, se requiere la compañía de uno de los padres o adulto responsable.
Este proyecto, enmarcado en el Plan de promoción de Colombia en el Exterior, busca destacar la cultura de Colombia a través de los ritmos tradicionales como la cumbia, y el uso de instrumentos autóctonos y busca promocionar el aprendizaje del español a los niños.

Musical workshop for kids with members of the Melbourne based band "Amaru Tribe”
The Embassy of Colombia in Australia, the Latin American Cultural Centre (and the Spanish group "Ositos Cool") presents the musical workshop “Hola Music!” with members of the Melbourne based band "Amaru Tribe”. This fantastic band stands out in the Melbourne music scene with a new rhythm that is been called "Oceanic Cumbia", mixing elements from the band’ Latin American roots.
The workshop is aimed to children between 7 and 12 years old and will be held at the facilities of the Latin American Cultural Centre (28 Astrolabe Road, Red Hill ACT 2603), at 4.00 pm on Wednesday, October 24. (Limited places available – FREE EVENT LIMITED SPACES, BOOKING IS REQUIRED) The company of one of the parents is required to allow the participation of the children in the event.
This project, framed among the activities of the Plan for the Promotion of Colombia Abroad, seeks to highlight the Colombia culture, with special interest on traditional rhythms such as cumbia and the use of native musical instruments, as well as promoting the learning of the Spanish language among children.
